Requirements
Must:
- A strong network across the UK and a demonstrable track record of originating, shaping and converting consulting opportunities for Data, Analytics, and AI projects
- Consulting experience that spans solution development, proposal creation, commercial negotiation, and building trusted advisor relationships at senior client levels
- Proven experience in leading teams and projects, with strong coaching and mentoring abilities
- A collaborative and client-centric mindset, with the ability to translate business problems into compelling data-led solutions
- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex challenges and drive projects forward
- Knowledge of key challenges facing businesses and how digital technologies can be an enabler in solving those
- Significant experience in data architecture, engineering, or a related field, including experience in building data platforms and working with cloud services like Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and experience with data platforms like Fabric and Databricks
- Certifications in relevant technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, can be beneficial
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the Data Architecture and Engineering team at Senior Manager or Director level
- Build a pipeline of work and develop consulting opportunities for Data, Analytics, and AI projects
- Collaborate with clients across the UK and support teams in other BDO offices
- Work closely with clients to build long-lasting relationships and provide quality advice
- Translate business problems into compelling data-led solutions and drive projects forward
- Support and coach team members to foster personal development and skill enhancement
- Stay up to date on the latest technologies and industry trends to offer valuable insights
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives
