Requirements
Must:
- Solid understanding of computer systems, networks (LAN/WAN), and operating systems (Windows)
- Microsoft 365 administrator level experience
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Understanding of databases and SQL code
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify and fix technical issues efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Technician or relevant role
- Typically requires 2+ years of experience in IT support, often paired with a degree in computer science or related certifications
- Reliable and self-motivated individual
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple requests, and work unsupervised
- Physical ability to install, lift, and move computer equipment
Responsibilities
- Setup, configure, and repair staff computers, laptops, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing end-user support both on-site and remotely
- Manage IT inventory and cyber security
- Provide IT training to new and existing staff
- Assist in IT infrastructure troubleshooting, setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults and network connectivity issues
- Install and configure application software from Microsoft, Autodesk, Adobe, and others
- Maintain operating systems and applications software at the latest update level
- Manage and troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Perform regular backups and implement data security measures
- Create and maintain IT procedures
- Identify replacement equipment for end-of-life hardware
- Manage and renew software licenses
