Requirements
Must:
- Skilled in service delivery, change leadership, and leading teams
- Adept at improving, monitoring, and adhering to regulatory and governance policies and procedures
- Proven ability to run a Supply Chain function while identifying, developing, and delivering functional and business outcomes
- Capable of identifying organizational improvements and interventions through business intelligence and statistical data
- Skilled in assessing organizational capability and creating evidence-based solutions
- An MCIPS or a MCIPD qualification is desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead the governance and assurance for supply chain
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards
- Ensure supply chain is resourced with suitably qualified and experienced staff to support operational requirements
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand ongoing requirements and ensure alignment with operational and business goals
- Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive compliance, development, and improvement
- Lead and mentor the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Act as key conduit between sector and group to ensure supply chain initiatives are appropriately deployed into Naval Ships
