Requirements
Must:
- I have experience and demonstrated knowledge programming specifically Siemens PLC’s, HMI’s, and Drive systems through the use of Step 7, WINCC flex, TIA Portal, and Simotion Scout.
- I possess experience programming Siemens Safety PLC’s, programmable PILZ units, and the use of safety relays in general.
- I have a background working with automated manufacturing processes.
- A degree or BTEC (HND/HNC) in Electrical/Electronic/Control Engineering or a similar subject would be desirable.
Responsibilities
- I will conduct fault finding and diagnostics on robotic and industrial processes.
- I will work on and support bespoke Industrial Control Systems (ICS) solutions to ensure that each asset remains fully operational.
- I will prepare, review, and maintain documents, including reading and understanding electrical schematic diagrams.
- I will ensure that the systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently, and safely, modifying existing systems to improve safety and efficiency.
Description
I am offering a competitive salary of up to £55,869, depending on skills and experience. This role is located at Radway Green (on-site). As part of the Sites Services Team, my aim is to manage and maintain Industrial Control Systems used to control engineering systems, machinery, and processes in both non-hazardous and hazardous operational functions.
