- I expect you to have the ability to operate in a large, complex multi-project environment, with experience in Configuration Management, problem-solving, and technical knowledge of the domain. Knowledge of Naval Combat System Products is desirable.
- You should understand System Design Specifications and technical documentation, and be able to lead Integration, Performance & System Testing along with Acceptance and Delivery Management.
- A good understanding of LCM, Engineering Lifecycle, and systems engineering methodologies and practices is essential, along with the ability to perform Release planning from project initiation to completion.
- You must demonstrate flexibility in responding to changes in tasking and priorities while effectively communicating with management, peers, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and performing end-of-month reporting is required.
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects, as well as specific qualifications that recognize you as either an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer through an appropriate professional institution. We encourage engineers to pursue relevant accreditation, with preference given to those who are already professionally registered.

Responsibilities
- You will perform software release planning and ensure it remains up-to-date throughout the release process.
- Create and manage software and system acceptance and delivery plans, along with supporting documentation.
- Make engineering decisions within your sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.
- Manage and oversee multiple diverse functional teams and stakeholders on several projects concurrently throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact with customers and/or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters, resolving complex problems while maintaining awareness of priorities and objectives on both sides.
- Perform budget management and provide end-of-month reporting for multiple projects.
As a Software Acceptance and Delivery Lead in our Capability Development Insertion Group (CDIG), you will engage in aspects such as configuration management, software release planning, budget management, formal qualification, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration. You will support various engineering activities to lead the delivery of work and services for multiple platforms under the supervision of the CDIG Engineering Manager.

CDIG is responsible for new capability insertion into the CMS-1 for products like new radars and unmanned helicopters. We manage projects from the bidding phase through to disposal, including contract awards, development, implementation, testing, acceptance, and delivery. An example is the Naval Radar Replacement project, which we started years ago and are currently wrapping up.
