Requirements
Must:
- Practical experience in supporting the procurement of high value equipment
- Confident in engaging in constructive questioning to support optimal outcomes
- Comfortable in coordinating and organizing supplier visits to site
- Ability to ensure all security requirements and necessary documentation are in place in advance
- Willingness to be on site during testing phases to support supplier visits
- Minimum Baseline Personnel Security Standard achievement required
- Eligibility for higher levels of National Security Vetting may require 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK
Responsibilities
- Lead and support multiple weekly calls and meetings with suppliers and internal teams
- Attend monthly on-site sessions at supplier premises
- Administer contracts, ensuring purchase orders align with budget
- Maintain accurate payment milestone forecasts and update Terms & Conditions
- Raise requisitions and manage supplier payments in line with governance requirements
- Oversee obsolescence-related equipment changes and progress equipment alterations to approval
- Identify and secure appropriate budgets for equipment changes
- Coordinate supplier visits to site, providing on-the-ground support during visits
