Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with an IT or Computer Science-related degree or equivalent experience in a Business Data or Master Data Management environment. You should have experience working with customers on data projects to understand their requirements. Additionally, you need to demonstrate experience in building data services, which includes creating design specifications, data modeling, data conditioning, integration, improving data quality, data governance, and deployment/support. Proficiency in SQL, particularly writing queries using multiple tables and interpreting results, is essential. A solid understanding of MDM and the tasks associated with handling data sets from various domains is required. Experience with MDM tools such as Semarchy, TIBCO EBX, and Informatica, as well as familiarity with ETL tools like SSIS, is desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to translate business requirements and rules into technical design specifications. You will support the development and deployment of MDM solutions and other data services within the business, utilizing an ITIL framework. Your responsibilities include working with multidimensional and relational data sets to create conformed data models and presenting an information service layer over multiple business data sources. You will also support the development and enforcement of data governance policies and data quality rules across various MDM services. Responding promptly to incidents while maintaining service level agreements and consistent communication with our customer base will be crucial. Additionally, you will assist the MDM Team Leader in developing the skills of the MDM Development Team by providing support and advice to junior colleagues as needed.
