Principal Systems Engineer - Software Simulation

We are excited to invite you to our Simulation and Training sector at Broad Oak Works in Portsmouth, which is part of BAE Systems Maritime and Land Defence Solutions. As a System Technical Lead within our MIMESIS team, you will take on technical responsibility for designing and developing new modules/content for our MIMESIS product. This includes reviewing and approving lower-level documentation and providing technical guidance to the engineering team. You will work closely with the System Design Authority to develop and support MIMESIS for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team of approximately 30 systems and software engineers dedicated to shaping the next generation of maritime simulation by embracing new user interface capabilities, such as AR/XR, and leveraging the latest in emerging technologies, like AI.
