Requirements
Must:
- Experience in Field Engineering/Construction Engineering, with a test and commissioning background, including participation in test and trial events
- Domain specialist in communications systems
- Relevant experience in fault finding roles
- Electrical/electronic experience
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise to support the development of the functional design for external communications systems
- Mature the external communications sub-system on the submarine from build to test
- Undertake test and trial events on the submarine
- Manage subcontractor visits for test events, including submitting security forms and conducting health and safety briefs
- Investigate defects or non-conformities (installation or testing) to a resolution
- Define systems architecture, components, interfaces, and data for the development and production of component sub-systems
- Understand contractual and performance requirements for external communications systems and support the definition of acceptance criteria and events through various project phases
