Requirements
Must:
You should possess proficiency in Linux, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will need strong skills in DLP rules and an analytical mindset. A solid understanding of network architectures and protocols is essential, as is the ability to diagnose and escalate network issues effectively. Experience with DLP technologies, such as Symantec and/or Trellix, is required. Familiarity with Atlassian Stack technologies like Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket will be beneficial, along with experience in firewall technologies. You should demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and have proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell and RegEx. It would be desirable if you also have experience with the Git version control system and the ability to work within change control processes.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will assign you tasks such as creating rules in DLP and troubleshooting Linux systems to identify and resolve technical issues. You will need to detect and diagnose network issues in a large environment, often escalating to third-party providers. Managing and supporting Atlassian Stack technologies will be part of your duties, along with supporting firewall rule reviews. You will work on large-scale projects, onboarding new and existing networks into our Cyber Toolsets. Collaboration with technical engineering colleagues will be crucial in providing efficient cyber services, managing systems for data collection, indexing, and analysis. You will also optimize searches, reports, and dashboards for valuable insights, and automate tasks using scripts.

You will be joining an expanding cyber engineering team that supports additional requirements within our Enterprise IT services across the UK and internationally. This position involves participating in the creation of security solutions to deliver enterprise security services and maintaining, developing, and communicating associated roadmaps and standards throughout the service lifecycle.
