Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Proven advocacy for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and an understanding of its benefits.
- Familiarity with The Gang of Four design principles.
- Strong knowledge of clean coding principles (SOLID, KISS, DRY, SRP).
- Extensive experience with APIs, including comprehension of the differences between API Gateway and API Management.
- Strong Java development skills in a Spring Boot/Microservices environment.
- Experience with distributed systems and enterprise design patterns.
- Cloud experience, ideally with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), though AWS or Azure is acceptable.
- Proficient in MongoDB or similar databases.
- Experience with build tools, such as Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, including Jenkins, PaaS, and GitLab.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will engage daily in TDD and Clean Coding practices. You will be responsible for building out new features as part of a brand-new team of four. Your work will involve the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a primary focus on the backend. You will define, build, iterate, and test core products, designing and developing high-volume, low-latency Java code. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement by researching new technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
