Requirements
Must:
- I require strong commercial experience in Python and C++.
- Exposure to real-time data processing or hardware-integrated systems is essential.
- Experience in building GUIs in Python, Qt, or similar frameworks is desirable.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and Git-based version control is expected.
- I value a proactive approach; candidates should take ownership of tasks and contribute ideas.
- Strong communication skills are necessary, as you will be working in multi-disciplinary teams and presenting work to stakeholders.
- UK nationals must be eligible for security clearance.
Responsibilities
- You will develop applications using Python and C++ for prototype and R&D systems.
- I expect you to create intuitive and responsive graphical user interfaces that present real-time data to end users.
- You will implement data acquisition and visualization pipelines for hardware-connected systems.
- Integrating machine learning models using PyTorch and supporting inference testing will be part of your role.
- You will deploy software on Linux-based platforms while maintaining robust build and release workflows.
- Collaborating closely with embedded, electronics, and mechanical engineers to deliver integrated systems will be essential.
- You will support customer demonstrations, trials, and feedback sessions.
- I’ll need you to produce clear, well-structured technical documentation.

You will help transform early-stage research software into polished, user-focused applications that operate on real hardware platforms, including developing graphical interfaces, real-time data visualization tools, and integrating machine learning models for inference.
