We are looking for a Senior/Lead-level .NET developer who has a strong architectural and DevOps awareness. You should have solid experience in React (experience with Next.js is a plus, but not essential) and be comfortable working full-time on-site, as this is non-negotiable. You’ll need to be a confident communicator and a natural mentor, ready to step into a leadership role or continue providing leadership in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, I’ll expect you to lead by example in a hands-on coding environment, with about 80% of your time dedicated to development. You’ll drive technical decisions, establish code standards, and define software architecture. You will work on transformational projects including platform migration, API build-outs, and new customer-facing systems. Additionally, you’ll provide on-site support and leadership to a growing team of developers while collaborating with both internal and offshore teams.
Description
We’re hiring for a full-time, on-site Lead .NET Developer position with our well-established, award-winning UK company, located just outside Sheffield. You’ll be working with a modern tech stack, which includes .NET Core, MVC, SQL Server on the backend, and React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS on the frontend. For infrastructure, we utilize Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git, along with other technologies like Headless CMS and legacy platform integrations. In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000, along with 22 days of holiday (plus your birthday and Christmas Eve off), 5 paid days per year to experience and review company holiday products, holiday discounts, an EV salary sacrifice scheme, an annual salary review, and pension and on-site parking. The hiring process will include a Teams interview as the first stage, followed by a simple technical project, and concluding with an on-site final interview.
