Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking a Senior/Lead-level .NET developer with strong architectural and DevOps awareness.
- I require solid experience in React (Next.js is a plus, but not essential).
- You must be comfortable working full-time on-site (this is non-negotiable).
- I am looking for a confident communicator who can naturally mentor others.
- You should be ready to step into a leadership role or continue leading in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- You will lead by example in a hands-on coding environment, with 80% of your time dedicated to development.
- You will drive technical decisions, code standards, and software architecture.
- You will work on transformational projects, including platform migration, API build-outs, and new customer-facing systems.
- You will provide on-site support and leadership to a growing team of developers.
- You will collaborate with both internal and offshore teams.
Description
I am hiring for a full-time, on-site Lead .NET Developer position at a well-established, award-winning UK company headquartered just outside Sheffield. The tech stack you will be using includes .NET Core, MVC, SQL Server for the backend; React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS for the frontend; and Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git for infrastructure. You will also work with a headless CMS, legacy platform integrations, and occasionally use Flutter for internal purposes. The salary for this position is up to £60,000, with additional benefits including 22 days holiday, your birthday and Christmas Eve off, five paid days per year to experience and review company holiday products, holiday discounts, an EV salary sacrifice scheme, an annual salary review, a pension, and on-site parking. The hiring process includes a Teams interview as the first stage, followed by a simple technical project as the second stage, and a final on-site interview as the third stage.
