Requirements
Must:
- I require experience with Java.
- I need experience with SQL.
- Financial modelling experience is a must, specifically in Cash Flow Modelling and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
- Experience working within a Banking or Investment company is essential.
- I expect a 2:1 or 1st Class Degree, ideally in Finance, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will join a small yet dynamic team of 15 people.
- You will be working across the full software development lifecycle.
- A core responsibility will be refactoring a cash flow modelling engine that we have been developing over the past few years.
- You will primarily use Java, along with SQL and Springboot for development.
- You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to React on the front-end, and it would be a bonus if you already have experience with it.
Description
We operate in a hybrid work model, requiring you to be in the office two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). The interview process includes an initial video interview with the Director of Technology, lasting approximately 30 minutes, followed by a final face-to-face interview at our office with the financial team. The salary for this position is up to £80,000, with an additional discretionary bonus up to 10%, 25 days of holiday, and flexible working hours.
