Requirements
Must:
- Active DV Clearance is required
- Strong background in Data Architecture with hands-on experience
- Solid understanding of modern data patterns including lakehouse, medallion, and streaming
- Experience designing complete data platforms, not just individual components
- Comfortable working with clients and stakeholders, not just internal teams
- Practical mindset with ability to make sensible trade-offs instead of over-engineering
Responsibilities
- Design full data platforms end-to-end, ensuring smooth data flow from ingestion to consumption
- Work with modern approaches like lakehouse and medallion architectures
- Define both batch and streaming pipelines based on use cases
- Make decisions regarding storage, orchestration, governance, and security
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business problems into practical technical solutions
- Operate in secure, regulated environments, emphasizing attention to detail and sound judgement
Description
We are a successful multinational tech consultancy seeking DV Cleared Data Architects to support long-term client programs. This role offers variety and true ownership, allowing you to work across different projects and industries while steering your career based on your strengths. You will have exposure to a broad set of tools, platforms, and environments in a multi-cloud setup including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Our offices are located in London, Bristol, Manchester, and Belfast, with a hybrid work model of 2 days per week in-office.
