Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on Data Science capability
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production, not just experimentation
- Comfortable operating across data engineering and architecture discussions
- Experience working within messy, multi-system, inconsistent data environments
- Architectural thinking, even if not formally titled Head of Architecture
- Experience leading and developing a small, high impact team
- Proactive, commercially aware, and confident in setting technical direction
Responsibilities
- Lead a Data team of 5-6 across Data Science and Data Engineering
- Design and improve a scalable AWS data platform
- Create architectural coherence across siloed systems
- Lead end-to-end machine learning from feature engineering through to production deployment
- Embed robust MLOps and model performance monitoring
- Improve ingestion, transformation, and production readiness of data
- Define and own a multi-year data and AI roadmap aligned to business growth
