Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in data engineering or architecture with hands-on experience
- Experience designing full data platforms with a focus on end-to-end solutions
- Good understanding of modern data patterns like lakehouse, medallion, and streaming architectures
- Comfortable working with stakeholders and clients
- Practical mindset with an ability to make sensible trade-offs
- Eligibility for DV or SC Security Clearance preferred
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end data platforms from ingestion to consumption
- Ensure seamless flow of data through the architecture
- Work with modern approaches such as lakehouse and medallion architectures
- Build both batch and streaming data pipelines
- Make decisions around storage, orchestration, governance, and security
- Collaborate closely with clients and translate business requirements into practical solutions
- Choose appropriate tools for various data challenges depending on the project
