Requirements
Must:
- Diploma of Higher Education (required)
- One year of software development experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with multiple development environments/tools (desirable)
- Experience with industrial PLCs and automation platforms (desirable)
- Valid Driving Licence (required)
- English language proficiency (required)
Responsibilities
- Bespoke software development using Delphi
- PLC programming, primarily Allen Bradley and Siemens, with exposure to Mitsubishi and Schneider platforms
- HMI design and development
- Preparation of electrical wiring diagrams
- Configuration and commissioning of instrumentation
- Setup and troubleshooting of industrial communication protocols
Description
Automation Solution Ltd designs and delivers high-performance, bespoke control and automation systems for process plants, primarily within the surface treatment industry. We engineer and manufacture control panels, develop robust PLC programs, and create intuitive HMI interfaces. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging and varied role in a fast-growing business, with real responsibility, mentoring, and training provided. Initially office-based in Cranleigh, this role may evolve into a hybrid arrangement over time. We offer private medical healthcare after one year of full-time employment, a discretionary bonus scheme, and opportunities to participate in exciting projects.
