Knowledge and working experience of TDD/BDD (unit testing) Experience with Object-orientated or functional programming Awareness and experience with implementation of testing throughout the multiple levels of the Test Pyramid Desired Skills & Experience Containerisation - the majority of the following; Experience of containerizing legacy workloads using Docker Working experience with orchestration platforms running Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm or Nomad Awareness or experience with PaaS container services such as AKS, EKS or ECS Deploying and managing workloads such as microservices on container orchestration platforms Aware of security principles and best practices involved in operating platforms and the workloads including service meshes such as Consul or Istio CI/CD You are able to discuss the benefits of Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery and why you should deliver small and frequent releases You know and understand the importance of artifact versioning, promotion and deployment strategies You are aware of the tooling in the CI/CD space such as Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and ability to implement using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK or ARM templates Aware of Compliance-as-Code and associated tools Security Understand the need for security to be embedded at each stage of the value delivery process Enable and understand the need for automated compliance Understand the importance, concepts and the tooling around the threat analysis and security testing such as SAST, DAST, IAST, and RASP

Our Automation Engineers and Architects come from a DevOps background and are technically adept in configuration management tools, continuous development, Linux environments and have experience of delivering cloud infrastructure and cloud automation. Key Duties & Responsibilities: You will join a project engineering team and focus on adding hands-on technical expertise, ensuring outcomes meet the highest technical and agile standards. We expect our engineers to understand the client’s project aims and to offer professional and commercial insight to ensure client satisfaction as well as representing the commercial interests of Automation Logic. We always expect our engineers to be very self-sufficient when engaged in smaller assignments representing Automation Logic by themselves, always ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality work and outstanding client care.
