Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with Python, specifically in Django or Flask frameworks.
- Proven track record in designing secure, robust RESTful/GraphQL APIs and integrating with third-party services.
- Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and on Docker/Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience in an Agile environment, using Git for version control and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Skilled in implementing authentication, encryption, and performance optimizations.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions, as well as microservices architectures.
- Exposure to big data frameworks, ETL pipelines, or machine learning applications.
- Understanding of GDS service standards and accessibility principles would be an added bonus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance back-end services and APIs that are secure, scalable, and efficient.
- Manage both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, creating flexible and reliable data architectures.
- Deploy and manage applications on top-tier cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Take ownership of the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless, automated testing and deployment in an Agile environment.
- Implement best-in-class security protocols and ensure systems meet the highest performance standards.
