Responsibilities
- Interrogate and extract data from an existing Engineering database
- Collate, cleanse, and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Structure information into a user-friendly Excel database
- Build and maintain Excel-based tools, including searchable features, macros, and automated functions
- Identify data gaps, discrepancies, and trends, and flag issues where necessary
- Prepare clear data summaries, lists, and supporting documentation
- Maintain organised records and ensure data is stored in line with internal processes
- Support general administrative tasks related to data management
- Assist in improving data workflows and suggesting enhancements where beneficial
- Liaise with internal team members to clarify data requirements and ensure accurate outputs
Description
We are offering a temporary opportunity for a detail-oriented Data Administrator to support a short-term project, with a pay rate of £15 per hour for 40 hours per week. This is an initial 3-month contract where successful candidates will work with an Engineering database to extract, analyse, and organise information. Full training and guidance will be provided to ensure you succeed in building a macro-driven Excel database tailored to the project’s needs.
