Requirements
Must:
- Extensive (circa 5 years) business intelligence experience with deep knowledge of dimensional modelling and the BI domain, including current and future trends
- Knowledge of data protection legislation globally and data management is highly desirable
- Demonstrated capability to gather and translate data requirements from stakeholders into repeatable, performant processes and reporting structures
- Good knowledge of Cloud concepts, or the ability to learn the techniques and technology necessary to implement an enterprise data platform
- Proactive approach, self-motivated with the ability to work to realistic and challenging goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, orally or in writing, at all levels
- Experience working with Databricks, Python, Azure (not essential but very beneficial)
Responsibilities
- Implement data warehouse designs that support demands for business intelligence and data analytics
- Identify and validate internal and external data sets generated from a diverse range of business and operational processes
- Transform the results of analysis into information that can be communicated to stakeholders using dashboards and reports
- Interpret and analyse data, including comparative analysis, benchmarking, and trend analysis
- Focus on data quality to provide confidence for decision-making based on a single version of the truth
