Requirements
Must:
- Previous hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering
- Educated to degree level in Computer Science or relevant certifications
- Solid skills across Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), Azure, networking, and VMware/Hyper-V and SQL
- Strong knowledge across Remote Access, Web Tech, Databases, Networking, Storage, and Security/Compliance
- A team-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills
- Previous experience within the legal sector or legal-tech setting desirable
Responsibilities
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services
- Support Windows-based web and business applications
- Manage Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and RemoteApp
- Oversee DNS, SSL/TLS certificate management
- Handle all backups, updates, patching, and security maintenance
- Ensure system performance, availability, and disaster recovery
- Contribute to ISO 27001 and GDPR processes
- Provide technical support to internal team members
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
Description
We are a small professional company within the Legal Services sector, offering a hands-on, broad technical position ideal for a real team player. Our team enjoys a trusting and flexible work environment, with the role being hybrid, working three days remotely and two days at our sites in Surrey. This position comes with a competitive salary range from £42,000 to £46,000, along with benefits including a pension, 22 days of holiday (plus a Christmas shutdown and annual increase up to 25 days), BUPA, onsite parking, and potential discretionary annual bonuses.
