Requirements
Must:
- 1–3 years experience in an IT support or service desk role
- Good working knowledge of Windows environments
- Experience with Active Directory
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of SharePoint
- Basic understanding of networking and connectivity
- Experience supporting mobile devices and remote users
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Organised and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Full driving licence
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across the business
- Troubleshoot technical issues for office-based and remote users
- Support mobile devices and PDAs
- Maintain and monitor the organisations IT infrastructure
- Assist in supporting system security, data integrity, and access control
- Contribute to IT projects, system improvements, and infrastructure upgrades
Description
We are a leading UK organisation seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our established IT department at an exciting time of systems development and digital enhancement. The position is primarily office-based at our Mid Cheshire site near Winsford, with occasional travel to other operational sites as needed. We offer a competitive salary of up to £29,500 per annum, plus a discretionary performance-based bonus, providing an excellent opportunity for a junior IT support engineer to develop skills and gain broader exposure to IT systems and infrastructure.
