Requirements
Must:
- Embedded Linux development, involving Yocto and building/maintaining custom Linux images
- Knowledge of device trees, user-space and kernel-space, and SoC platforms
- Ability to adapt to different technologies with a strong ambition for learning
- Motivation to thrive in a consultancy environment
- Real-Time C/C++ experience
- Proficiency in a higher-level language for tooling or test automation (e.g., Python or C# & .NET)
- Broader embedded experience such as RTOS, bare-metal systems, hardware interfacing, DSP, algorithms, protocols, and state machines
- Capability to read electronics schematics and work at the interface between electronics and software
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex system-wide software and systemic issues
- Good communication skills for technical documentation
Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects from early customer engagement to delivered solutions across diverse market sectors including industrial, defense, and medical
- Develop on embedded Linux systems, including Arm-based SoCs
- Work on a range of RTOS and bare-metal embedded systems from various silicon vendors (e.g., STMicroelectronics, Microchip)
- Support system bring-up, board integration, debugging, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with FPGA and electronics teams
- Participate in project planning, documentation, and uphold good software engineering practices and team culture
