Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a seasoned software developer with over five years of commercial experience in modern Python development, specifically with Python version 3. It is essential that you have at least two years of hands-on frontend development expertise with frameworks like React or similar. You should have practical knowledge of application design and microservices architecture, along with experience using cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and relational databases like SQL. A solid understanding of Agile workflows and contemporary software deployment practices is also necessary. We value excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, an initiative-driven mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm for using technology to solve practical problems. Lastly, you must have full rights to work in the UK, as we are not offering sponsorship for this role.
Responsibilities
In this full stack role, you will be expected to collaborate on the design and development of robust web applications using the Django and Python stack. Your duties will involve developing REST APIs, contributing to frontend development using React or similar frameworks, and working on cloud-based solutions primarily on AWS. You will engage in Agile workflows, ensuring to apply contemporary software deployment practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Teamwork and communication will be crucial as you coordinate with different members of the development team to achieve measurable outcomes.
