Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Java using Spring technology stack
- Hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer
- Exposure to messaging layers like IBM MQ, Kafka, etc.
- Good understanding of micro-service design patterns
- Proficient in data modeling, database SQL, and related performance tuning
- Good understanding of Kubernetes concepts and operations (hands-on experience preferred)
- Working knowledge of MongoDB preferred
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
- Passion for building an innovative culture
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
- Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
- Exposure to cloud-native development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement automated testing solutions
- Enhance existing automation frameworks and develop new test automation scripts
- Execute and maintain test plans and schedules
- Identify and report defects, ensuring quality standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Contribute to the design and development of micro-services architecture
- Monitor and evaluate application performance and tuning through data modeling
- Work with developers to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend best practices for automation
