Requirements
Must:
- I am proficient in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot with strong coding skills.
- I have experience in defining test scenarios and automating unit and integration tests.
- I am skilled in performance testing and code optimization.
- I possess knowledge of MQ, Kafka, and message parsers.
- I am proficient with Oracle and Cassandra databases.
- I have experience in build and deployment processes using Bitbucket, Git, Jules, and CLOUD.
- I possess excellent problem-solving skills, an attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as EXTJS and ReactJS is a plus.
- Certification in Oracle JDK11 or JDK17 is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- I will write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
- I will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- I will participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- I will stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
- I will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and support.
- I will ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Description
This position is a Fixed Term Contract with an expected duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Glasgow.
