We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 6–8 years of server-side development experience in C++, preferably on Linux/UNIX platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the C++ Standard Template Library (STL), data structures, and multi-threading. Proven experience in using design patterns and a solid grasp of software design principles is essential. Additionally, familiarity with low-latency/high-throughput messaging platforms and the FIX API for exchange and venue connectivity will be advantageous. Exposure to relational and time series databases, as well as proficiency in SQL/Q, is also important. Scripting experience in languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl would be useful, and business knowledge in FX and/or Rates electronic trading is desirable.
Responsibilities
As a C++ Developer on our team, I will entrust you with developing and maintaining server-side solutions in C++ for our front-office trading systems. Your work will ensure high performance and low-latency delivery of pricing and trading functionalities. You will need to collaborate with other teams to implement robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that support our Global Markets businesses.
