Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or similar role
- Strong background in data centre environments, colocation, and hosting services
- Experience with enterprise networking, virtualization, compute platforms, storage technologies, cloud platforms, and hybrid architectures
- Understanding of security architectures and compliance frameworks
- Desirable experience with regulated-sector solutions
- Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency in data centres
- Experience with edge computing and multi-cloud architectures
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions using Datavitas data centre, connectivity, and partner ecosystems
- Produce high-level and detailed technical architectures, including network, compute, storage, security, and DR/BC
- Ensure solutions meet performance, availability, compliance, and security requirements
- Validate designs against operational, financial, and regulatory constraints
- Act as the technical authority during customer engagements and projects
- Work with sales and account teams to understand business and technical requirements
- Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and design reviews
- Present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support project and operations teams during solution implementation
- Provide technical governance throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Assist with troubleshooting and optimization of deployed solutions
- Ensure smooth handover to support and operations teams
- Ensure architectures align with industry best practices and Datavita standards
- Support compliance with ISO, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
- Embed security-by-design principles into all solutions
- Contribute to risk assessments and resilience planning
