Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in data-centre networking
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and F5 load balancers
- Cisco networking experience, including ACI
- Aruba switching experience
- Experience supporting third-party connectivity (MPLS, WAN, interconnects, cross-connects)
- Experience working within a managed services or hosting environment (desirable)
- Exposure to multi-tenant or shared infrastructure models (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support data-centre network infrastructure
- Configure and support firewall platforms with a focus on Fortinet
- Support Cisco network infrastructure including ACI
- Manage and troubleshoot third-party connectivity and interconnects
- Work with service providers, carriers, and customers on network integration
- Support change, incident, and problem management activities
Description
We are a small but impactful team that has successfully delivered massive infrastructure projects to both public and private sector clients through our state-of-the-art tier 3 data centre facilities. We are looking to expand our team by adding an experienced Platform Engineer with a focus on Network and Firewall to join us on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, which is likely to become permanent. Please note that this role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our Hamilton office.
