Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with experience in physical design input and build of networks, especially in OT connectivity.
- Extensive experience in a similar role or a field-based/consulting role is required.
- I desire candidates with CCNP certification, specifically in Routing, Switching, and Security, along with Data Centre experience in Nexus.
- A strong understanding of network security principles and associated technologies is essential.
- Candidates must have experience troubleshooting complex enterprise networks and associated technologies.
- Knowledge of Wide Area Networking technologies and routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP is crucial.
- Experience in administering and troubleshooting the following technologies and platforms is essential:
- Cisco ISR and ASR Routers (2900/4000/1000ASR)
- Cisco Hyperflex and UCSx
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Cisco Switching (3850/3650/2960X/4500X) and technologies like VTP, STP, VSS
- Cisco Data Centre Switching (Nexus 5K/7K/9K) and associated technology like VPC and VDC
- IPSec VPN Configuration and Administration
- Cisco FirePOWER IPS and Threat Defence
- Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco DNAC and Prime
- Cisco Wireless - WLC's (C9800 series)
- Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
- Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Security Clearance is desirable, as is offshore certification.
- Experience in administering and troubleshooting technologies like Cisco Meraki Wireless, Security and Switching, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco ACI, and HP and Aruba Platforms is also desirable.
- Familiarity with Cisco DevNet API and SDK is a plus.
Responsibilities
- I will need you to deliver extensive critical national infrastructure utilizing market-leading tools to future-proof security and availability needs.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will lead projects from design through to implementation and take ownership of problems to ensure all the necessary steps are taken to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- You will be involved in Project Engineering, including Low Level Design activity, implementation services, and consultancy services.
- Providing expert-level support to all clients and acting as an internal point of escalation for all support-related incidents is part of the role.
- You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing all network and security-related incidents.
- Mentoring other members of the team is expected as part of your responsibilities.
