Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture
- Experience implementing and supporting Azure ExpressRoute
- Good understanding of Azure networking, identity, and core services
- Background in enterprise infrastructure (Wintel/Linux/VMware)
- Experience operating Azure within a managed services or hosting environment (desirable)
- Familiarity with data-centre networking and firewalling (Fortinet preferred) (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
- Support hybrid environments integrating Azure with on-premise platforms
- Implement and operate Azure ExpressRoute connectivity
- Support identity, networking, and security integration with Azure
- Provide technical input into platform designs and migrations
- Troubleshoot Azure platform, networking, and connectivity issues
Description
We are a small team that has successfully delivered significant infrastructure projects to both public and private sector clients using our state-of-the-art, tier 3 data centre facilities. We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role thereafter. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our Hamilton office.
