Requirements
Must:
- 2 years of hands-on kdb development experience.
- Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Prior experience in Capital Markets/Investment Banking is a plus but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with business users to define new application requirements.
- Developing, testing, and maintaining clean, performant code for client applications.
- Supporting project delivery alongside Project Managers and senior developers.
- Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
- Analyzing large-scale time-series data and generating actionable reports.
- Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of learning.
