Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, VPC, and MLAG.
- Deep experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
- Proficiency in firewall configuration, specifically with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and FortiGate.
- Experience in VPN setup and support (IPSEC and remote access).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools such as Wireshark and SNMP.
- Ability to support cross-platform environments (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Experience in Microsoft Active Directory design and maintenance.
- Strong documentation, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Candidates must be DV clearable (British nationals with long-term UK residency only).
- Desirable: CCNA/CCNP certifications.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Deploying and managing LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks for secure enterprise environments.
- Troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues.
- Documenting network topologies and configurations.
- Monitoring and enhancing performance across network infrastructure.
- Installing and maintaining firewalls, including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA (AnyConnect), and FortiGate.
- Managing VPNs, IPSEC tunnels, and certificate-based authentication.
- Contributing to Active Directory design and secure environment management.
- Mentoring junior staff and acting as a key escalation point for issues.
- Participating in incident response and root cause analysis.
