Requirements
Must:
- I require 5+ years of experience in information security, risk, or compliance roles.
- A strong understanding of ISMS principles (ISO 27001) and audit support for SOC 2 Type II is essential.
- I seek hands-on experience with security tools and controls, including SIEM, IAM/PAM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
- A working knowledge of data protection and privacy standards such as GDPR and HIPAA is important.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor are welcomed.
Responsibilities
- I will develop and maintain our information security strategy, policies, and frameworks.
- Overseeing day-to-day security operations, including access control, patching, log review, and alert response, will be part of my role.
- I will implement and manage controls across cloud and on-premises environments, preferably in Azure and AWS.
- Leading incident response processes and investigations, while coordinating remediation actions, will be a key responsibility.
- Supporting compliance programs such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and data protection (GDPR) will be essential.
- I will deliver regular security reporting and KPI tracking for senior leadership.
- Driving security awareness training and best practices across the wider team will also fall under my purview.
