Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in enterprise or technology architecture
- Experience designing integration architectures and API strategies
- Understanding of data architecture and data governance practices
- Experience working with cloud-based technology environments
- Knowledge of identity, security and enterprise platform design
- Experience working within multi-vendor technology environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the organisations enterprise technology architecture strategy
- Design and govern the target-state application and integration architecture
- Rationalise a fragmented application landscape and improve system integration
- Introduce strong architectural principles, standards and governance
- Lead the design of integration approaches including API-led architectures
- Establish robust data architecture practices including data governance and common data models
- Oversee cloud and infrastructure architecture to ensure resilience and scalability
- Provide architectural oversight of security frameworks and technology risk
- Lead architectural due diligence during technology procurements
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure technology platforms align with long-term strategy
Description
We are Applause IT, seeking an experienced Head of Technology Architecture to lead the evolution of technology architecture within our nationally recognised professional organisation, which is currently undergoing significant transformation. This hybrid role is based in the UK across our London, Oxford, or Edinburgh offices and offers a salary up to £90,000 plus excellent benefits. You will play a key role in modernising our complex technology environment and shaping a clear long-term technology roadmap while working closely with our Business Transformation leadership team.
