Requirements
Must:
- I have 3+ years of experience in application support (client-server and web-based systems, such as Apache and IIS).
- I possess strong SQL database skills (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle).
- I have knowledge of Windows Server and application deployment.
- I am experienced in scripting (SQL, PowerShell, Python, and VBS).
- I understand networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, and Firewalls).
- I am aware of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG and Zabbix) is desirable.
- I have ITIL experience in incident, problem, and change management.
- While not essential, I have experience with local government software.
Responsibilities
As an Application Analyst, I will:
- Support client-server and web applications in a Windows Server environment.
- Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolutions for customers.
- Collaborate with project and delivery teams to onboard new customers.
- Work closely with the service desk to maintain hosted applications.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve service efficiency.
- Ensure security compliance and adhere to company policies.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends.
