Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a senior procurement or purchasing leadership role within managed print, IT, or a related technology environment
- A strong track record of supplier management, contract negotiation, and delivering measurable cost savings
- Experience managing subcontractors and navigating complex supplier ecosystems
- The ability to design and implement procurement processes and systems that scale with business growth
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across sales, operations, and finance
- Experience leading and developing teams, with a focus on capability and accountability
- A professional procurement qualification such as CIPS would be advantageous, but not essential
- AI literacy with curiosity about technology and comfort exploring automation
Responsibilities
- Defining and delivering a procurement strategy that drives cost optimisation, performance, and long-term value
- Building strong, strategic relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors across a complex, multi-vendor environment
- Leading commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing, robust contracts, and high-quality service delivery
- Driving supplier performance through structured evaluation, governance, and risk management
- Enhancing procurement processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, compliance, and data visibility
- Partnering with sales, operations, and finance to align procurement with demand planning and customer commitments
- Using market insight and data to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and competitive advantage
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small procurement team to deliver consistently high standards
