Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a 3rd Line Support / Senior Support Engineer role.
- Strong cloud expertise, particularly AWS and Azure.
- Good knowledge of Network, Routing and Firewalls.
- Excellent skills within MDM technologies such as Intune or JAMF.
- Solid knowledge of Identity Management and Single Sign-On solutions (SSO).
- Hands-on experience with Azure and Active Directory.
- Experience with JumpCloud and/or Okta highly desirable.
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code principles (IaC) or Access Policies / Zero Trust is a plus.
- Experience supporting a large enterprise user base (1,000+ users).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Clear gravitas and confidence when dealing with senior management.
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into plain English.
- A collaborative mindset, with a genuine interest in supporting and developing junior team members.
- Calm, professional and dependable under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the 3rd Line escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Delivering and contributing to cloud and infrastructure projects, with real ownership and visibility.
- Supporting and developing identity management and SSO platforms.
- Working closely with senior managers and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear advice and reassurance.
- Supporting and mentoring 2nd Line engineers, helping raise capability and service standards across the team.
- Operating in a regulated financial services environment with a strong focus on stability, security and best practice.
Description
We are an IT Services company seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our established team supporting a financial services organisation in the City of London. This is a senior support role that entails a strong project delivery component, allowing you to work in a professional environment with a diverse user base of around 2,000 users. We offer a full-time, hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, providing you with a senior and visible role that includes both support and project work.
