Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical architecture and integration background
- Experience with agile estimation and story sizing
- Ability to translate technical risk into business impact
- Experience in governance-heavy transformation environments
Responsibilities
- Act as an independent critical friend across a large transformation programme
- Provide structured technical, estimation, and design assurance
- Challenge and validate supplier estimates
- Review technical designs and Key Design Decisions (KDDs)
- Define and embed design quality gates
- Support commercial inputs including Statements of Work (SoWs), change requests, and releases
- Ensure cross-programme architectural alignment
- Produce monthly assurance reports and risk summaries
Description
We are seeking a senior Technical Assurance Lead for a 21-month contract outside IR35, starting in early April. This remote role will require travel to Jersey three days per month. Our team is focused on delivering a large-scale transformation programme and we aim to ensure supplier outputs are sound, cost-effective, and aligned with our objectives.
