Requirements
Must:
- Deep understanding of technical architecture and integration patterns
- Familiarity with Dataverse and cloud integrations
- Strong knowledge of agile estimation methodologies (Story Points/Sizing)
- Excellent commercial acumen and ability to translate complex technical risks into business impact
- Previous experience in a similar technical assurance role
- Ability to challenge and review supplier estimates and designs
- Strong coaching and communication skills
- Experience with formal design sign-off processes
Responsibilities
- Act as an independent technical adviser providing assurance across a large-scale transformation programme
- Review and challenge supplier estimates for user stories and epics
- Provide logs of material changes between baselines and updated figures with technical justification
- Validate solution options and Key Design Decisions (KDDs) for architectural alignment
- Define technical quality criteria for designs and non-functional requirements (NFRs)
- Support the PMO in embedding formal design sign-off gates
- Provide independent technical input for Statements of Work (SoWs) and change requests
- Ensure consistent use of shared components across different workstreams
- Develop coaching materials to enhance the capability of Product Owners and BAs
- Establish an assurance framework and quality criteria
- Conduct ongoing reviews of designs and KDDs
- Prepare monthly summary reports of assurance findings and risks
- Deliver final assurance summary and capability hand-over
Description
We are seeking a Technical Assurance Lead for a 21-month contract, operating remotely with travel to Jersey three times a month. This role will focus on providing critical technical assurance across our large-scale transformation programme. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure supplier outputs are cost-effective and aligned with our strategic objectives.
