Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on GCP
- Strong knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Solid understanding of system security and networking concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable deployment processes in GCP
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance application performance
- Automate manual processes and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
Description
We are a dynamic tech company based in Central London, offering a competitive salary between £80,000 - £105,000 per annum, along with a performance-related bonus, generous pension scheme, private healthcare, and 25 days of holiday. We support a hybrid working model and are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our team and help drive our cloud initiatives forward.
