Must:
We are looking for a skilled Platform Technical Architect with a strong background in leading teams and developing high-quality solutions on public cloud platforms. You should possess a solid understanding of modern digital service platforms and an ability to work closely with customer architects, advising on estimated effort and the technical implications of user stories and decisions. Your role will require you to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and apply them effectively. Experience in managing, coaching, and developing staff will be essential, as well as fostering a culture of collaboration within the team.
Responsibilities
As part of our wider team, you will provide leadership by collaborating with colleagues in engineering, testing, consulting, product management, and security to design solutions that fulfill non-functional requirements. You will keep a pulse on emerging technologies, applying them to maximize their benefits. You will be expected to give constructive criticism to improve solutions and actively share your knowledge within the company and the larger industry. Additionally, you will lead the delivery and support of projects, sometimes taking a hands-on role, and making informed decisions. You will be a role model for others, supporting colleagues and promoting a DevOps culture while upholding our company values. Furthermore, you will manage and develop your staff, providing them with guidance on performance and career growth.
Description
This position is based in Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom, with a salary of £100,000 GBP plus a bonus. It offers a permanent role with opportunities for home working.
