Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Linux admin/support role.
- Strong skills with applicable tools and technology, specifically RedHat and Solaris 7-11.
- Automation/Scripting skills in one or more of the following: Command Line, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
- Experience with virtualization technology, such as VMWare.
- I value strong communication skills, both written and verbal, ideally with experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo high-level security clearance checks.
Responsibilities
- As a Linux support specialist, I will expect you to be part of our established team, contributing to various growth projects.
- You will provide support and administration for Linux environments and tools.
- Your role will involve utilizing your scripting and automation skills to enhance our processes.
- You will also be involved in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
