Requirements
Must:
- Proven commercial experience in Java (back-end development)
- Strong knowledge of AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, or similar)
- Experience with one or more front-end technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript, or React
- Exposure to Agile delivery environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (British citizen, UK resident for 5 years)
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and testing bespoke full-stack applications in Java and AWS
- Developing and maintaining high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions
- Working with open-source technologies and modern frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, React)
- Building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab to automate quality and security checks
- Deploying software to public (AWS, Azure) and private cloud environments
- Contributing to architecture decisions and software design reviews
- Engaging directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate new features
