Requirements
Must:
- 10-15 years of experience in architecture leadership within the Energy, Utilities, or adjacent sectors.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions across complex, regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of ESG transformation, cloud modernization, M&A integration, and business model reinvention.
- Deep familiarity with sector-specific vendor ecosystems and technology stacks.
- Certification in recognized frameworks such as TOGAF, SAFe, or major cloud vendor accreditations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- For Director-level applicants, additional experience in business development, vendor alliances, and cross-sector strategy is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale technology transformations for top-tier Energy & Utilities clients.
- Define and deliver end-to-end architecture strategies, aligning business goals with cutting-edge technologies.
- Drive innovation through Cloud, Data, and AI, building sector-specific assets and accelerators.
- Partner with global teams and hyperscalers to shape market demand and strengthen digital propositions.
- Provide strategic guidance and governance across complex programs, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
Description
I invite strategic architects with a strong background in the Energy & Utilities sector to join our team. This role presents an opportunity to influence how major organizations utilize technology to achieve cleaner, smarter, and more resilient operations. As part of our team, you will be at the intersection of architecture, leadership, and industry change, making a measurable impact across this critical sector. The compensation package includes a base salary up to £160,000 along with a bonus and benefits, offering flexible hybrid working, private medical coverage, life assurance, an enhanced pension, and access to large-scale digital transformation projects with Tier-1 clients. Additionally, we provide continuous learning and certification support across architecture, cloud, and AI.
