Must:
We require candidates to possess the following essential experience:
- Sales and consulting knowledge
- Experience as a Cloud Architect, AI Architect, or similar roles
- ITIL expertise and certifications
- Subject matter expertise in at least one platform (cloud computing, cloud hyperscaler, X86, mainframe, midrange)
- Understanding of DevSecOps and Agile frameworks, including Scrum, to identify inefficiencies through readiness assessments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred experience includes:
- TOGAF expertise and certifications
- Experience with various IT Operating Models and the ability to build organizations that deploy and support key technologies
- Advanced certifications relevant to your platform or area of expertise
- Ability to articulate the impact of key technologies on security, availability, cost, and capacity
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum)
Responsibilities
As a Senior Mainframe Consultant, you will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor, leading highly complex, multi-disciplinary consulting engagements from conception to delivery
- Define sourcing strategies and select providers that align with customer IT and automation strategies
- Conduct comprehensive ROI and business case analyses, prioritizing use cases based on business impact
- Develop strategic future state visions and roadmaps to revolutionize infrastructure and network requirements in line with evolving IT and business needs
- Capture, prioritize, and analyze both functional and non-functional technical requirements, ensuring meticulous crafting of every solution aspect
- Act as a thought leader by contributing to the evolution of intellectual capital assets and practice resource development
- Conduct readiness assessments and develop strategic approaches to optimize IT and cloud resource implementation
