Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 2 years' experience with C++ and C#.
- You should have experience working in Agile environments (Scrum).
- I am looking for candidates with a strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
- A background in developing within a Windows-based environment is essential.
- Exposure to automated testing or Windows OS lockdown is highly desirable.
- Security Clearance: SC required to start (sole British or dual UK/NATO nationals only).
Responsibilities
- You will develop and maintain software using C++ and C# within a Windows environment.
- You will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, integration, delivery, and support.
- You will collaborate in Agile (Scrum) teams, typically consisting of 5-7 engineers.
- I expect you to engage with multiple subsystems and understand broader functional interactions.
Description
This position offers the opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team working on mission-critical defence projects. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, contributing directly to the delivery and support of complex, real-world systems. I offer a salary of up to £64,000 depending on experience, a bonus of up to £2,500 based on company performance, and paid overtime beyond the 37.5-hour work week (time and a quarter on weekdays, time and a half on weekends). Additional benefits include a pension contribution of up to 14%, up to 15 additional days of flexi-leave, flexibility in working hours for personal commitments, enhanced parental leave policies, and excellent on-site facilities including subsidised meals and free parking.
